Elva 'Nonnie' Weaver
Elva Louise "Nonnie" Weaver, 78, of Paragould died Monday, January, 16, 2006, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 20, 1927, in McCrory and was a homemaker. "Mom Weaver" was a member of Peace Tabernacle Apostolic Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Dewey Weaver and James Weaver of Arbyrd, Mo., Mack Weaver of Hardy, and Emmitt Weaver, Johnny Weaver, Tommy Weaver, Jackie Weaver and Jake Weaver, all of Paragould; and three daughters, Elva Cross, Martha Moss, and Susie McDaniel, all of Paragould. She is also survived by one godson, Edward Oden of Paragould, 35 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and by two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday in Mitchell Funeral Home at Paragould. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Snow and Jesse Dollars officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knott Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Howard, John Stewart, Travis VanDon, Isaiah VanDon, Kenny Myrick and Tommy Hazelwood.
